What remains: the legacy the world recognises

The inventory of the Bazou Kingdom's heritage covers its three dimensions — what the Kingdom has built, what it practises and knows, and those who still carry it. It will be built under the authority of the Royal Commission for the Heritage Inventory.

Tangible heritage

The Kingdom's sites, objects and architecture: the chiefdom and its houses, places of memory, the insignia and objects of the dynasty.

Intangible heritage

Rites, know-how and oral traditions, inventoried across the five domains of the 2003 UNESCO Convention: oral traditions, performing arts, social and ritual practices, knowledge concerning nature, craftsmanship.

Human heritage

The living holders of knowledge — keepers of rites, master craftspeople, guardians of the language: the Kingdom's Living Human Treasures.
